NRT’s last official event took place in May 2011, the co-curators/organisers of the network/projects discussed various ways in which the network could continue as it had proved to be a great success.
However PhD and life commitments took over – two of the founders, have graduated gaining their doctorate and the other two are in their final year, heading towards the finishing line.
Our aim is to make this site more accessible and to archive the project as a case study, so watch this space!
For now the legacy of the project continues in the many varied connections, opportunities and collaborative activities and research . . . → Read More: A Year on – News about New Research Trajectories

We had an exciting discussion with Alison Lloyd ‘The Contemporary Art of Walking’ today and have set a date for a ‘collective walk’ in the Peak district.
We are limited to 18 -20 people and places will be allocated on a 1st come/1st served basis with a reserve list if necessary.
Alison is currently devising a walk that will enable artists/researchers to explore the potential of walking, which will include rest stops, time for discussion, happenings etc. We envisage that the walkers/participants will come with their own agenda’s/ideas of what they wish to get out of the day/activity and participants are encouraged to . . . → Read More: NRT walk in the Peak District – Tuesday 10th May

Thanks so much to everyone who came along and participated. We were thrilled with how the event turned out and glad to have new participants on board as well as the wonderful researchers who built the event with us. We will add a full summary of the days events soon but for now here’s a couple of photographs. More can be found on our Flickr account and Facebook group. Please email us your own documentation and feedback if you would be happy for it to be edited together in a multi-media, multi-perspective evaluation of the day.
